Recruitment of Companies for Smart Factory Support in the Cosmetics Field by the Smart Manufacturing Innovation Association
To sustain the growth of K-Beauty, the Smart Manufacturing Innovation Association and the Korea Cosmetics Association are recruiting cosmetic manufacturing companies to participate in the 2026 ministry collaborative-type smart factory establishment support project. The program aims to support small to medium-sized cosmetic manufacturers in adopting innovative production systems and enhancing quality competitiveness, offering a multilateral support approach including building smart factories and promoting GMP in cosmetics with expert mentoring from K-Beauty professionals.

Through the organic integration of the smart factory establishment support project by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the cosmetics GMP activation support project by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, it aims not only to increase production efficiency but also to achieve qualitative growth throughout the industrial ecosystem. Practical Benefits for Cosmetics Manufacturers
This support project is open to manufacturing companies registered as manufacturers needing GMP and smart factory construction. Particular focus is placed on providing substantial assistance to companies registered as manufacturers with the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety. The main support offerings include:
- Establishing smart factory solutions spanning from product design to production process improvements, helping companies achieve more efficient and precise production environments.

Support in building automation equipment, controllers, and sensors integrated with solutions to allow the application of advanced technology at the site.

Consulting on cosmetics GMP certification and training for GMP expert development to strengthen quality management capabilities in line with global standards.

Lastly, one-on-one mentoring with the K-Beauty expert group, comprising leading cosmetic companies and smart factory construction experts, is offered free of charge over eight sessions to closely support the company’s growth.
Support Conditions
This project offers support up to a total of 250 million won for up to two times, applying a support ratio of up to 50% under a maximum limit of 200 million won per session. Selected companies will have the opportunity to receive free CGMP certification consulting, training, and tailored mentoring from the K-Beauty expert group, so don’t miss it.

Applications for the project will be accepted online through the Smart Factory Business Management System website from February 9 to April 9. Interested cosmetics manufacturing companies should be sure to check the details through the website’s notification.
